OVEN & STOVE ISSUES

WILL NOT TURN ON

When an electric stove does not turn on, first be sure the appliance is plugged in and all circuit breakers are on. You should check the pilot light for gas models. If the appliance power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is lit in the oven, then a different part will have to be replaced. The cause of the issue might be the surface element, infinite switch, oven igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that does not produce heat does not do much good. Your oven won’t heat when there’s a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. A burner won’t ignite if an element breaks or the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We can troubleshoot and fix these issues in less than 1-2 hours after we arrive.

TIMER ISSUES

It is reasonable to assume the control panel on a stove or oven is broken when the program or timer settings aren’t working. In this case, we can fix control panels for LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and many other brands of ovens, ranges and stoves. We provide a warranty on control panels and replacement parts we need for this stove repair service.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS TOO HOT

You always want a hot oven. Although not too hot! If the heat is too hot, it could be because of a broken thermostat or sensor. Our technicians can identify the cause of the problem and fix it. But be careful when troubleshooting this issue for fear of skin burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A common stove issue is that an igniter glows but will not light. The reason this occurs is from a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We are able to determine whether we can repair these appliance parts or if we have to replace the parts.

DOOR DOES NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning types of ovens sometimes experience door issues often. The door does not open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door closure, seal and thermostat to figure out why the door does not open up and then complete the repair so we can resolve the issue.
